Tomlinson Run Lake 33-acres of family fishing fun! |
Over 33 acres of water in the form of various ponds and lakes offer excellent fishing for bass, catfish, bluegill and trout. Also a part of the water-oriented activities at the park are boat docks where rental row and paddleboats are offered for your enjoyment.
Tomlinson Run's recreational facilities include a swimming pool with a waterslide/bathhouse complex and snack bar. The swimming pool is open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day from noon until 7:30 p.m. The pool boasts a 182-foot figure eight-shaped water slide. Rates for swimming at Tomlinson Run State Park are $5 for adults and $4 for swimmers under 12 years of age. Days of operation in the later part of August may vary based on availability of lifeguards.
A one-day pass that includes swimming pool access, miniature golf, and paddle or row boat use will be available the summer of 2012. The cost per pass is $12 and includes tax. It is a per person price regardless of age. Passes may be purchased at the Tomlinson Run park headquarters or the Tomlinson Run campground office.
Not far from the pool area are basketball and volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, miniature golf and playground equipment.
Tomlinson Run offers extensive hiking opportunities on the XX trails.

The park offers four picnic shelters which can be reserved by the day for a modest fee. Otherwise, picnic shelters are available on a first-come, first served basis. Click for rates
Shelter 1: minimum electricity available, handicap accessible shelter, and a large charcoal grill. A handicap accessible restroom and playground located close by. This shelter is located near miniature golf and the handicap trail
Shelter 2: minimum electricity available, not handicap accessible, restrooms located on the end of the shelter, and shelter built by the CCC. A new playground located close by and this single fireplace shelter was built by the CCC.
Shelter 3: no electricity, restrooms located nearby, and double fireplace shelter built by the CCC. A new playground located close by.
Shelter 4: minimum electricity available, handicap accessible shelter, and two new large charcoal grills. Handicap accessible restroom located close by and the shelter is located near swimming pool and slide. Volleyball and basketball court is located nearby.
Swimming, boating, and mini-golf fees apply to all visitors.
